Jarosław Lipszyc

Jarosław Lipszyc is the President of the Modern Poland Foundation. Before he started working for the Modern Poland Foundation, for many years he had worked as a journalist, poet and musician, and currently he is an active booster of modern education and free culture. He co-founded the Coalition for Open Education.

He was the author of the concept and the contributor to such OER initiatives as the portal “Włącz Polskę” (eng: Turn Poland On) and the “E-textbook” project (the major element of the “Digital School” reform) prepared by the Polish Ministry of Education. He plays a substantial role in all projects conducted by the Modern Poland Foundation; he leads workshops for teachers and gives lectures on subjects related to new technology, education and the Internet law.

He promotes dialogue and cooperation between NGOs and public administration. His main area of interest is free speech in the age of digital technology.
